Report: Short report from Huntsville:
Arriving at von Braun Center at 6 pm, meeting Pam, Brad and Tim while waiting
for the concert. The concert was well attended, maybe sold out? Beginning was
7:05 pm, end at 8:50 pm. It was not allowed to go in front of the stage or to
give anything to Olivia on stage. Neither during the concert, nor afterwards! No
shake hands as in Nashville and Tunica! The audience was not as enthusiastic as
in Tunica or Nashville. So it was not as easy for Olivia than before;-) But the
concert hall and the acoustics were brilliant. And Olivia was nevertheless
extraordinary powerful and she seemed again to have very much fun performing.
The set list was equal to Tunica, but without "Over the rainbow". A
small correction (my fault yesterday): She modified the text from the “Boy
from Ipanema” to “MAN from Carolina”;-) There was a Meet & Greet after
the show - with us:-) Olivia and John were very lovely and patient (talking,
giving autographs, taking photos)! What another unbelievable moment! Wow…...
We saw the tour bus behind the building, some fans waiting there for Olivia. But
we left, so don't know whether they met Olivia.
