Report: Short report from Tunica:
Arriving at Sam’s Casino Tunica at 7 pm, meeting Danny and some other Olivians
while waiting for the doors to open. The doors to the River Palace Entertainment
Center opened at 7:30 pm, the concert was not sold out, but well attended.
Beginning was 8:15 pm, end at 9:45 pm. The audience was enthusiastic – not
quite as much as in Nashville, but much more than in other Casino concerts we
joined before! And Olivia was again extraordinary powerful and she seemed to
have very much fun performing. The set list was similar to Nashville (besides
the Barry Gibb part of course). She modified the text from the “Boy from
Ipanema” to “Boy from Carolina”;-) After the show we had contact with some
other fans (e.g. Shari and Charly, Edgar, Heather - some of them still have to
join the club;-) There was a Meet & Greet after the show, but without us.
Nevertheless we waited in the River Palace with some other fans – with success!
After finishing the Meet & Greet Olivia and John appeared again and took
some time with us – talking, giving autographs, taking photos, etc. What an
unbelievable moment! Wow… Photos:
